Our team concluded the past workweek in a truly productive and impactful manner — by holding an online meeting with the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) 🤝
ℹ️ About USUBC
The U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) is the largest business and trade association focused on Ukraine, with its headquarters in Washington, D.C. USUBC represents over 240 member companies from key sectors of the economy in both countries. Established in October 1995, the organization aims to promote the trade and investment interests of American companies in Ukraine, while also fostering strong and friendly bilateral relations.
👋 We were pleased to welcome Ms. Nadiya Khomaziuk and Ms. Iryna Chaika as representatives of USUBC at our joint meeting.
➡ Key discussion topics included:
📎 A presentation of projects already implemented by our NGO, along with an overview of upcoming initiatives.
📎 Ms. Nadiya Khomaziuk shared insights about their joint program with the U.S. Department of Commerce, focusing on the current state and future development of women-led businesses in Ukraine.
📎 We discussed the current business environment in Ukraine and how legislative developments are influencing business operations.
📌 We also outlined potential areas for further collaboration:
☑️ Research into the challenges faced by large enterprises in Ukraine, along with possible solutions that leverage the country's available female talent.
☑️ Exchange of experience between medium-sized businesses and small enterprise clusters in Ukraine.
☑️ Organization of a leadership training for the team of the NGO “Insha Zhinka” ("Divergent Woman").
We sincerely thank Ms. Nadiya Khomaziuk and Ms. Iryna Chaika for a meaningful and engaging conversation. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and meeting again in person at the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025 this July! 🙏
