There have already been 3 meetings in the mediation course, during which our lawyer volunteers will acquire the skills of resolving disputes and conflicts of interest in resolving family issues, especially children.
Mediation is widely used abroad, in Ukraine this direction is just beginning to develop. The advantages of such dispute settlement are that both sides receive a satisfactory result and save time, money, nerves and tranquility not only their own, but also children and do not bring the case to litigation (during litigation, children often have to communicate with psychologists , to undergo examination, which negatively affects the not yet formed psyche).
At the end of the course, 4 participants will receive certificates and continue to assist the victims of home and gender -conditioned violence within the project

"WE ACT: We are acting for women and their capabilities" is a 1.5 -year program implemented by UNFPA, the UN Foundation for Population in Ukraine with the financial support of the European Union, the main tasks of which are to provide emergency support with gender aspects due to crisis COVID-19, and strengthening gender equality in Ukraine. The program is aimed at protecting women from gender-suggested violence, eliminating barriers to women's leadership and supporting health care sector workers who are response to the coronavirus epidemic.
